A SSIS Data Flow Transformation Component To Provide Basic Data Masking Capabilities.

SSIS Data Masker is a component for SQL Server Integration Services that aims to offer data masking possibilities.

Before being able to use the component in packages it must be added first to the items available in the Data Flow Transformation area of the Toolbox in BIDS or Visual Studio.

The component is designed to not accept all the available SSIS data types, but if you deem it will work on an unsupported data type, then a Data Conversion Transformation component can be placed to precede the Data Masker thus converting the unsupported data type to the supported one.
